Artist’s Statement

My work is a recording of existence among and beyond the social, institutional, and political mainstream and norms. The main theme in my work is place called home and table culture which affects feelings, creates experience, holds memories, and builds identity, and as such confronts our existence as individuals compared with the identity we have as part of society in general.

At first sight, bold and chaotic, it is mostly a sum of marked feelings, experience, and reactions which all together make a narrative which can be read as the sum of a classical art and craft approach with contemporary aesthetic.
